Raymond Omietim

Raymond Omietimi has been appointed General Manager (GM), Geosciences for Oando Energy Resources Nigeria Limited. He has multi-dimensional experience in the oil and gas industry, including over 25 years engineering experience, extending into roles as production operations supervisor at flow stations, project engineer, engineering manager and project manager for various oil & gas activity projects, and general manager for operations of various oil mining leases, covering company-wide E&P operations.
He began his career as a production supervisor and spent over 14 years in various project development roles, gaining extensive local and international practical expertise in designing and managing oil and gas facilities. His work included overseeing and managing the design of client facility projects performed in Africa, Europe, the UK, and the USA. He subsequently managed production operations at key sites such as the Agbara field platform, and Okono Okpoho Mystras FPSO and, ABO FPSO in Nigeria.
Raymond holds a B. Eng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos, and a Diploma in Energy Management and Environmental Economics from Eni Corporate University, Italy. He is a chartered chemical engineer, a member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (ICheme, UK), and a COREN registered member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
